Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The role involves handling complex accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting both internal and external financial processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and submit monthly statements (D.100, D.300, D.390, D.394).
  • Prepare, review, and submit monthly reports to various authorities (AFM, BNR, INS).

  • Post revenues by verifying and entering transactions.

  • Check and post deferred accruals (income and expenses).

  • Coordinate and assist in the monthly closing process to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Verify account discrepancies by investigating information from responsible departments.
  • Provide support across finance areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.

  • Maintain accounting ledgers as required.

  • Engage with management regarding any issues encountered.

  • Audit ledgers to ensure accuracy.

  • Maintain relationships with state authorities.

  • Act as a key point of contact for bank operations.

  • Support both internal and external audits.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Economics or related field.

  • Minimum 4 years experience in local and international accounting.

  • Strong computer skills, especially advanced Excel.

  • Experience working with specialized accounting software (SAP preferred).

  • CECCAR membership is a strong advantage.

  • Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

  • Ability to organize and communicate ideas clearly.

  • Very good interpersonal, motivational, and leadership abilities.

  • Process-oriented, organized, structured, and detail-focused.

  • Proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
