Accountant / Senior Accountant
to join our growing team.

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

  • Manage and supervise accounting records for all financial operations of the company.
  • Ensure compliance with Romanian accounting and tax legislation as well as internal company policies.
  • Coordinate relationships with suppliers, clients, and tax authorities.
  • Take an active role in both internal and external audits.
  • Participate in monthly and annual closing activities.
  • Prepare and submit all mandatory financial and tax reports and declarations on time.
  • Draft annual financial statements, audit reports, and other requested documentation.
  • Record accounting documents in the Charisma ERP system.
  • Represent the company in front of authorities and regulatory institutions.

As an Accountant (Junior/Intermediate), you will:

  • Issue invoices based on contracts.
  • Record supplier invoices, bank statements, petty cash, and employee expense reports in Charisma ERP.
  • Reconcile customer/supplier accounts, bank statements, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Monitor supplier payments to ensure deadlines are respected.
  • Track customer collections.
  • Keep an accurate petty cash register.
  • Request bank statements, prepare payment orders and receipts.
  • Update and monitor cash flow and adjust financial forecasts.
  • Prepare financial overviews (revenue per client, company turnover, operational costs).
  • Issue balance confirmations at year-end for clients and suppliers.
  • Ensure financial and supporting documents are properly prepared.
  • Provide requested financial reports (orders, invoices, cost estimates) to management.
  • Stay up to date with accounting and tax legislation and apply changes correctly and on time.

What We're Looking For

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience (senior or strong junior level).
  • Knowledge of Charisma ERP is an advantage.
  • CECCAR / CAFR membership is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and tax legislation.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and with strong analytical skills.
  • Confident in using accounting software and MS Office.
  • Fluency in Romanian.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
