Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic Digital Factory team at Luxembourg. In this role, you will analyze, develop, support, and maintain applications. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback, ensure the application performs as expected in the production environment, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process Analysis: Understand and map current-state business processes; identify pain points and improvement areas.
• Requirements Gathering: Lead workshops to elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Solution Design Support: Collaborate on defining TO-BE processes using modelling tools like BPMN or UML.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring mutual understanding.
• Testing & Validation: Prepare test cases and participate in solution validation during UAT and SIT.
• Change Support: Help users understand and adopt new systems or process changes through documentation and training.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on fintech trends, digital innovation, and business analysis best practices.

SKILLS

Financial Services Background:

Investment Funds or Asset Valuation, Taxation, Compliance or Financial reporting.

Educational background:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business or civil engineering, computer science, economics, information system management, etc.).

Professional experience:

• Demonstrate 4 to 6 years of professional experience in consulting and/or the financial services sector, showcasing a track record as a business analyst, functional analyst, or related roles.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Experience with relational database modeling.

Key expertise:

• Experience in analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and working with functional teams.
• Understanding of project lifecycles, including working in Agile teams.
• Knowledge of business process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN, UML) and agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

Other skills:

• Strong analytical skills, conceptual thinking, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
• Outstanding stakeholder management and ability to build relationships through clear communication.
• Certifications such as Agile (Scrum, Product Owner), or business analysis certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
