We are looking for a talented Application Administrator to join our team at BID
This role is essential for ensuring that our applications run smoothly, securely, and efficiently.

Main responsibilities

  • Administering and maintaining software applications used within the organization.
  • Monitoring the functioning of applications and ensuring compliance with SLAs.
  • Managing application configurations and user permissions according to security policies.
  • Installing, configuring and updating applications in test, pre-production and production environments.
  • Monitoring application performance and proactively identifying incidents.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues, including collaboration with support teams and vendors.
  • Ensuring the integrity and security of applications (SSL, access controls).
  • Maintaining up-to-date technical documentation.
  • Participating in technical testing of updates and patches.
  • Managing the operational relationship with third-party vendors.

Technical Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software application administration.
  • Experience or knowledge of Linux and Windows Server operating systems is an advantage.
  • Experience or knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure) is an advantage.
  • Experience or knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automating repetitive tasks is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and technical incident resolution skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical communication and collaboration skills with IT teams.
  • Experience in the banking sector and with banking applications is an advantage.
