Tasks
Key Task & Responsibilities:

  • Professional and disciplinary leadership of a team of currently 4 employees in the areas of Fixed assets accounting, intercompany invoicing and cost accounting/controlling
  • Close collaboration and cooperation with operational units, department heads in the shared service area, internal accounting team from Austrian company's headquarter and local management
  • Coordination and execution of the monthly close-off jobs observing the defined deadlines including checking of documents and related plausibility checks
  • Monitoring compliance with the defined Group guidelines, with primary focus in cost accounting
  • Check of cost centre statements with monthly recording and review of accruals and deferrals for management accounting closure, including check of related documents
  • Recording of fixed assets and inventory objects based on related purchasing documents (e.g. plant and equipment master data, depreciation period, sales or write-offs), keeping up accurate fixed assets register;
  • Processing of internal cost allocation (e.g. rents for machinery and equipment, recharging of utilities, services and overheads) and intra-group offsetting
  • Preparing and conducting of training programs for improvement of data quality and user knowledge

Requirements:

  • Several years of professional and management experience in Asset Accounting, Intercompany Invoicing and Controlling
  • Strong leadership qualities with a high degree of social competence, diplomatic approach and assertiveness
  • Leadership personality with the ability and corresponding experience to inspire, develop and retain people
  • Strong communication skills and empathy in dealing with employees, colleagues, managers and internal customers
  • Strong analytical and entrepreneurial thinking with distinct problem-solving skills
  • Strong personality with the ability to achieve set targets and goals
  • Working knowledge with Business Analytics & Process Solutions

Qualifications:

  • University degree in economics, business administration or a comparable qualification
  • Proven record of at least 3-years experience in a similar role (preferable Construction Industry)
  • Confident handling of MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • High level of personal responsibility, decisiveness and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills,high affinity for numbers and accuracy
  • Very good written and spoken English and/or German skills
