We are recruiting for our client, Deutsche Bank, a Service Manager to join their technology team in Bucharest.

The role is part of the Accounting Tribe and involves managing a critical financial application used for regulatory reporting and internal decision-making.

This position requires experience in managing business-critical applications, ensuring compliance, coordinating lifecycle activities, and working with stakeholders across IT, risk, and business functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the application: planning, deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and decommissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with internal IT policies, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate infrastructure updates, access reviews, and implementation of security controls.
  • Support audit processes and remediation of identified findings.
  • Maintain documentation related to application architecture, operational procedures, and compliance records.
  • Oversee incident, problem, and change management activities, following ITIL standards.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, compliance, and business teams to ensure application performance and availability.
  • Monitor application health and support continuous improvement in operational processes.

Requirements:

  • Experience in application ownership, service delivery, or similar roles with responsibility over live production systems.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes: incident, problem, and change management.
  • Experience working in regulated environments, with exposure to IT compliance, audit, or risk management.
  • Familiarity with application maintenance, infrastructure coordination, and security requirements.
  • Proficiency with tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, or Confluence for change tracking and documentation.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
