BRAND DIRECTOR – BERSHKA

We are looking for an experienced fashion retail leader, with strong commercial vision and an ability to translate product and customer needs into results. This role is ideal for someone with a background as a Commercial Director, Fashion Retail Director, Area Visual Merchandiser or Head of Commercial, ready to lead and shape our brand in the Romanian market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leads and coordinates the Bershka commercial team in Romania, ensuring that commercial activities in stores are carried out efficiently, in line with company standards and policies.
• Drives the commercial strategy at the local level, always aligned with global directives and brand positioning.
• Collaborates with the international head office to ensure that business and commercial objectives are consistently met.
• Maintains a close relationship with area managers, store managers and visual teams, identifying market opportunities, planning actions and guiding the team to achieve sales and performance goals.
• Oversees the implementation of company procedures and policies, supporting the team in making the best decisions regarding product selection, visual merchandising, store image, sales, stock, inventory management and budget control.
• Communicates all commercial decisions and initiatives effectively to the field team.
• Analyzes commercial KPIs and performance reports, taking proactive measures to drive results.
• Ensures that visual merchandising and product display standards are in line with the brand's image and guidelines set by the head office in Spain.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in fashion retail in a similar role (e.g., Commercial Director, Retail Manager, Visual Merchandising Lead, Area Manager, Head of Commercial, etc.).
• Strong background in commercial management, team leadership, and business strategy.
• Clear understanding of product rotation, stock optimization, and consumer behavior within the fashion retail landscape.
• Excellent communication skills, dynamism, and a strong ability to influence and motivate teams.
• High level of analytical thinking, organizational skills, and commercial acumen.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, with attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
• Bachelor degree.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to travel nationally (with up to 99% of the time spent in stores) and occasionally internationally.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
