Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive professional with 3–4 years of procurement experience to serve as the right hand of the Head of Procurement. The ideal candidate will support the leadership team in driving strategic initiatives, coordinating with country procurement specialists, and managing progress across various platforms and suppliers.
What You Will Be Doing
- Act as the primary support for the Head of Procurement in strategic planning and execution of procurement activities.
- Collaborate closely with the Sourcing Officer and other stakeholders to track progress on procurement projects across multiple platforms and countries.
- Coordinate and follow up with four Country Procurement Specialists to ensure consistency and alignment in procurement execution and documentation.
- Manage supplier and contract databases, including drafting, reviewing, and tracking contract lifecycles and renewals.
- Assist in the evaluation and improvement of procurement processes and documentation standards.
- Support the Head of Procurement in preparing project reports, timelines, and tracking KPIs.
- Ensure that procurement processes are followed in compliance with internal policies and operational needs.
- Participate in cross-functional project teams to support business growth and new market entries.
What Makes You a Strong Candidate
- Minimum 3–4 years of proven experience in a procurement role, ideally within a multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of procurement flows and processes from sourcing to contract management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects under pressure and tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail with a proactive approach to process optimization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to coordinate effectively across departments and cultures.
- Proficiency with procurement systems and tools; experience with tracking platforms and databases is a plus.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
