The Arabelle Solutions Quality Team is responsible for the definition and execution of global product, process and project quality across the organization. The team is globally organized by quality disciplines and execution focus. It reports into the Arabelle Solutions Quality organization.

The Project Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the contractual quality requirements (in terms of inspection notification, execution, documentation collection, management of non-conformance reports etc.) are compliant with the scope of supply.

Role Scope

As the Project Quality Engineer, you will review and capture contractual quality requirements negotiated in ITO (Inquiry to Order) and ensure that contractual requirements are met during OTR (Order to Remittance). You will be the quality focal point for the Region 1 & 2 Customer and the Arabelle Solutions project team. In this position you will specifically focus on the Quality aspects of Arabelle Solutions' PARTS Business for our key nuclear customers. You will represent Quality in front of customers and manage all quality requirements concerning respective orders. This role partners closely with Service Business team, the Operation and Region organizations as well as the related Engineering and Manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the ITP teams throughout the quotation process on all quality aspects; Provide Inspection and Test Programs (ITP) as needed.
  • Negotiate quality requirements, witness points, notification period etc. with both the customer and / or the 3rd Party Inspectorate.
  • Lead project specific risk assessments and the definition of project specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITPLs).
  • Coordinate customer supervision and inspections from mandated organisms and participate in witness inspections if required.
  • Support kick-off meetings with customer, with key suppliers and product owners for specific projects.
  • Lead the Project Non-conformance Report (NCR) coordination as ordering unit / assignment group; Drive NCR and CoPQ follow-up.
  • Support and lead root cause analysis in the project, such as 8D, A3, 5Why, etc.
  • Perform systemic issue analysis and drive the definition and implementation of preventive actions across all relevant functions and business partners.
  • Prepare End of Manufacture or Repair Report (EoMR / RFR / RFF) documentation for submittal to customer, as per ITP and / or contractual requirements.
  • Closeout of all quality related operations prior to closure of the Project by Project Management.
  • Seek, share and institutionalize best practices and lessons learned across the project, provide inputs to Services CUSTOMER Projects (other products, or service) PQMs if any.
  • Participate to intern lessons learned from RCA / 8D with or without customer.
  • Participate to customer meetings with project manager (weekly, monthly and / or quarterly).

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience across Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain functions.
  • Significant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Steam Turbine, Gas Turbine, and/or Generator sector.
  • Proficient in 8D problem solving, RCA, FMEA, and related methodologies.
  • Familiar with standards such as ISO 19443, EDF requirements, ASME NQA-1, IAEA GSR Part 2, or CSA N299.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal); French is a plus.

 
Desired Characteristics:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering designs and mechanical specifications.

En tant que Project Quality Manager, vous examinerez et identifierez les exigences qualité contractuelles négociées en phase d'offre (ITO : Inquire to Order) et vous veillerez à ce que les exigences contractuelles soient respectées pendant la réalisation (OTR : Order to Remittance). Vous serez le point d'entrée qualité pour le Client et l'équipe projet Arabelle Solutions.

Dans ce poste, vous vous concentrerez spécifiquement sur la qualité des clients nucléaires concernant les projets de Services : Fabrication de Pièces de Rechange neuves – Expertise et Réparation de pièces de rechange pour Turbine et Pompe. Vous représenterez la Qualité devant des clients de la Région 1 & 2 & EDF, client nucléaire clé, et gérerez toutes les exigences qualité des commandes.

Ce poste est en interface avec les équipes Service Business, PARTS, Ingénierie et Fabrication.

Les principales activités seront les :

  • Soutenir les équipes ITO tout au long du processus de cotation sur tous les aspects qualité ; Rédiger les Plans d'Assurance Qualité Projet (PAQP) si besoin.
  • Négocier les exigences qualité, les points de convocation, délai de notification, etc… avec le client et/ou tierce partie.
  • Piloter les analyses de risques spécifiques au projet et la définition Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) spécifiques au projet.
  • Coordonner la supervision et les inspections d'EDF auprès d'organismes mandatés et participer aux inspections lorsque nécessaire.
  • Participer aux réunions de lancement avec EDF, avec les principaux fournisseurs et propriétaires de produits pour des projets spécifiques.
  • Coordonner et suivre le traitement des non-conformités projet (NCR); Suivre les couts de non-qualité (COPQ) pour le projet
  • Soutenir et mener l'analyse des causes racines pour le projet :  8D, A3, RCA, 5Why, etc.
  • Mener des résolutions de problèmes systémiques et piloter la définition et la mise en œuvre d'actions préventives dans toutes les fonctions et business partenaires pertinents.
  • Préparer les Rapports de Fin de Fabrication ou Réparation (EoMR / RFR / RFF) à soumettre au client, selon les exigences PAQP et/ou contractuelles.
  • S'assurer de la clôture des toutes les questions qualité  avant la fin du projet.
  • Rechercher, partager et institutionnaliser les meilleures pratiques et Lessons Learned dans le cadre du projet ; fournir des données d'entrée aux Projets Services d'EDF via les PQM d'autres produits et des PQM  Projets Neufs  EDF , le cas échéant.
  • Participer aux Retour d'Expérience via les  RCA / 8D avec ou sans client.
  • Participer aux réunions client avec le chef de projet (hebdomadaire et trimestriel).

Compétences requises :

  • Formation Technique et/ou Qualité avec une expérience pratique en fabrication.
  • Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience dans les secteurs : Turbine à vapeur, Pompes et/ou Alternateur.
  • Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience Qualité en Fabrication, Ingénierie ou en Supply Chain.
  • Outil de résolution de problème 8D, AMDEC et autres méthodologies qualité.
  • Connaissance sur les normes nucléaires EDF : CCTG 05/1168, SGAQ, exigences EIP et MQCA, et RCCM.
  • Des connaissances de la DESP et des CND seraient un plus
