Quality Engineer

My client is a leading engineering contractor currently working on a major roads and infrastructure project in bucharest and are looking to recruit an experienced quality engineer for the following;

  • Supervision of requisite material tests and preparation and submission of results to Consultant;
  • Management of timely site test requirements in accordance with priorities of works;
  • Accurate recording and methodical filing of tests and preparation of work progress reports;
  • Selecting the best combination of materials for specific purposes;
  • Assessing materials for specific qualities;
  • Considering the implications for waste/environmental pollution issues of any product or process;
  • Working to solve problems that may arise either during the manufacturing process or with the finished product, and advising on inspection, maintenance and repair procedures;
  • Supervising quality control throughout the construction and production process;
  • Monitoring plant conditions and material reactions during use;
  • Helping to ensure that products comply with national and international legal and quality standards;

Candidates should have an engineering or construction degree and must have proven experience of working as a quality assurance and quality control engineer on major roads, highways and infrastructure projects.
