Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for coordinating the Financial Accounting Department and ensuring that current activities are carried out in accordance with legal provisions and internal regulations.
  • You will be responsible for preparing/reviewing financial and technical reports required by state authorities and the Uniqa Group in accordance with applicable legislation and reporting deadlines.
  • You will develop, propose, and implement policies, procedures, and instructions regarding financial and accounting activities.
  • You will monitor financial transactions carried out through banks.
  • You will participate in company-wide projects involving financial activities and process optimization and automation.
  • You will coordinate the execution of internal and external audits.
  • You will be responsible for calculating tax obligations and ensuring the preparation/review of declarations in compliance with legal deadlines.
  • You will provide guidance, direction, and motivation to employees under your supervision.

Qualification:

  • Higher education in a relevant field;
  • Previous experience: at least 2 years in the financial/accounting/tax field within the insurance sector and at least 5 years in a management position;
  • Advanced level of English;
  • Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
