We are re now looking for ambitious and analytical individuals to join our team as a Marketing Planning manager reporting to the AVP Marketing Planning and Finance Ops. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-moving team within the business with lots of opportunities for development and career progression. The successful candidate will gain experience of working in a Global Marketing function, understanding integrated marketing plans, operations and will have exposure working with the leadership team.

Location: Bucharest, Cluj or Iasi

Planning Support

  • Manage operational planning to ensure it is being conducted in line with strategy, governance and can be delivered: produce planning frameworks and timelines, ensure delivery of plans in line with the planning cycle and across teams, ensure alignment to operational governance and finance targets & flag budget overspend and underspends, track progress in relevant project management tools
  • Create plan overviews in different formats (presentation decks, excel, sharepoint, relevant tracking tools)
  • Support and ensure plan availability within relevant planning tools - Work with the marketing leaders or project management team to get detailed plans into Workfront (project management tool) ahead of each quarter and identify areas of resource bottlenecks where prioritisation decisions is required at the planning council
  • Actively support alignment between functional areas (Brand, Enterprise, Vertical and Regional)
  • Provide support on Integrated Marketing special projects
  • Align quarterly plan with budget funding all through the year and provide insight reports on any reinvestment opportunities, planning and finance changes
  • Support with annual planning exercise across marketing: create relevant resources for the team to use in their planning exercise, source relevant industry materials, source insights and performance reports and summarize for the teams, create calendar and RACIs to operate within, etc.
  • Operational support: ensure governance is maintained (own the marketing playbook), supporting operational rigour, adjust internal email distribution lists, team alignment for different requirements, etc.

Performance and reporting analysis

  • Work with performance marketing to ensure plan objectives are being met and adjust plans accordingly to rectify any shortfalls
  • Understand high-level performance insight and work with the marketing leaders and the performance team to form new plans to attain/correct performance shortfalls

Internal Comms

  • Pulling together communications and release timelines, highlighting opportunities to engage internal stakeholders and plan overviews for the wider Genpact Business Function and Marketing Community, and ensure delivery by agreed timelines of the internal communication plan

Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of experience in similar roles
  • Expertise in marketing planning, project management and high-level financials understanding
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and understanding of project management software (including Workfront, Workday, etc)
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good level of English required
  • Cross-leadership communication abilities are a plus
