Job Summary: As a test manager you are responsible for planning, organizing and controlling all activities in the field of testing within the department. You will ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations during the development and implementation of products. Your focus will be on the definition and documentation of processes, methods and tools to secure the required quality level of our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, coordination and control of test activities (e.g. unit tests, integration tests, system tests) as well as their results and documentation according to internal guidelines and external requirements.
  • Definition, maintenance and continuous improvement of test strategies, policies, processes, methods and tools.
  • Creation of test cases based on specifications and requirements.
  • Execution and evaluation of test runs and reporting of test results.
  • Identification of errors, problems and risks and their analysis.
  • Securing traceability of test results.
  • Reporting of defects, documentation of software errors.
  • Close cooperation with developers, project managers, customers and other stakeholders.
  • Supporting the release process by performing final product checks before delivery or publication.

Qualifications:

  • Completed technical studies (IT/engineering preferred).
  • Experience in the automotive industry, ideally in the area of testing.
  • Very good knowledge of relevant test methods, processes and tools.
  • Good understanding of software development life cycle models.
  • Very good knowledge of test management tools such as e.g. JIRA.
  • Excellent analytical skills and independent way of working.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Team player.
  • English language skills at advanced level.
