PLANNER WANTED:

As part of the project management process, we are looking for a planner for programming and planning services who will work in an interdisciplinary context in the main welding, non-destructive testing, and coating departments.

A planner for welding, coating, and NDT departments must have specific technical expertise in these processes, excellent planning and scheduling skills, resource management (human and material) skills, and strong interdepartmental communication skills. Key characteristics include knowledge of methodologies such as MRP and JIT, data analysis skills, inventory management, and an understanding of safety and quality regulations.

Technical and process characteristics

Process knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of welding processes, coating types, and non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques for effective scheduling.

Planning and scheduling: Know how to define a detailed production plan that includes the sequence of activities, timelines, and necessary resources, taking into account possible contingencies such as breakdowns or scrap.

Resource management:

Human resources: Plan shifts and ensure that staff are properly trained and assigned to the right tasks.

Materials: Manage stocks of consumables, intermediate products, and finished products to ensure continuity of production, working closely with the purchasing department.

Maintenance: Monitor the operation of machines and equipment to prevent production interruptions.

Organizational and management skills

Data analysis: Analyze production data to monitor performance, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements.

Cost optimization: Participate in setting production budgets and work to contain operating costs, including those related to transportation and fixed assets.

Communication:

Actively collaborate with other departments (e.g., production, logistics, purchasing) to ensure a coordinated and smooth workflow.

Communicate effectively with suppliers and managers, providing updates on production status.

Focus on continuous improvement: Propose and implement innovations to increase production efficiency.

Market understanding: Adapt production to customer demands and market needs.

Skills and training

Education: A degree in Management or Industrial Engineering provides a solid theoretical and practical foundation.

Regulations: Knowledge of safety and quality regulations to ensure process compliance.

Software: Knowledge of specific software and methodologies, such as MS Project&Excel, which help in optimal resource planning.
