Role Overview:
As the BID Manager for the EMEA Region, you will lead strategic bid and proposal efforts for large-scale wireless projects across multiple verticals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, commercial, legal, and delivery to craft compelling, competitive proposals that align with client requirements and business goals

Reports to: Head of Engineering - EMEA
Key Responsibilities:

• Bid Leadership & Strategy
• Manage the end-to-end bid process for wireless network solutions (e.g., 5G, RAN, DAS, small cells, private networks).
• Define and implement bid strategies aligned with regional sales objectives and customer needs.
• Lead bid qualification (bid/no-bid) discussions with stakeholders.
• Proposal Development
• Coordinate technical, commercial, and legal inputs to develop high-quality proposals.
• Ensure proposals clearly articulate value propositions, differentiators, and compliance with RFP/RFI requirements.
• Tailor content to reflect wireless industry trends, regulatory frameworks, and operator-specific needs.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work closely with sales, solution architects, RF engineers, procurement, and finance teams in the EMEA region.
• Engage with OEMs, system integrators, and subcontractors to gather inputs and pricing.
• Governance & Risk Management
• Ensure all bids comply with internal governance, pricing policies, and risk management protocols.
• Facilitate internal reviews and approvals at regional and global levels.
• Continuous Improvement
• Maintain a library of reusable content, case studies, and pricing templates specific to wireless projects and internal procedures.
• Analyze win/loss outcomes and integrate lessons learned into future bids.

Job Requirements
Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of bid management experience in the telecommunications or wireless infrastructure sector.
• Strong understanding of wireless communications industry technologies (e.g., LTE, 5G, Open RAN, fiber backhaul).
• Experience with public and private sector procurement processes across EMEA.
• Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, RFx platforms, and bid automation software.
• A Strong Knowledge of RFP and proposal process is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• APMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Multilingual capabilities (especially Spanish, French, German, Italian) are advantageous.
