About the Role:

You will work in the field of commercial, compliance, IT and IP law for Bitdefender Group companies worldwide. The Legal Advisor is responsible for supervising commercial agreements, license agreements and any legal related matters, ensuring that the organization meets all legal requirements in its operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and reviews all contracts with clients, suppliers to ensure compliance with the laws and internal procedures;
  • Ensures compliance with the legal requirements;
  • Serves as an advisor to business and technical teams and maintain the relation within Bitdefender group of companies;
  • Ensures compliance with different IT, communication and privacy laws and handles these matters within the Bitdefender group of companies;
  • Offers support in due diligences for M&A activities of the Bitdefender group of companies;
  • Ensures that tasks related to the organization legal affairs are completed in an efficient and economical manner in order to contribute to the achievement of the organization goals;
  • Follows up on all legal cases with external legal advisors and local courts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law;
  • Min. 7 years' experience working in Legal Department of a large IT, communications company or ecommerce company/retailing;
  • High level of English communication skills;
  • Highly responsible and motivated to work within a multicultural environment;
  • Knowledge of commercial, IP and IT laws;
  • French or German communication skills are a plus;
  • Attention to details, organized, flexible.
