Purpose of the role:

Providing internal legal advice and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation by drafting and negotiating contracts, managing legal relationships, and supporting the companys strategic decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide internal legal advice on civil law matters, including drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, collaboration agreements, and other legal documents;
  • Manage legal relationships with clients and suppliers, ensuring that all contracts and agreements comply with applicable legislation;
  • Assist in negotiating contractual terms and conditions with clients and suppliers;
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with current legal regulations, as well as advise the team on ongoing legal issues;
  • Support the management team in strategic decision-making by offering valuable legal perspectives;
  • Participate in dispute management, including preparing necessary documents and collaborating with external lawyers when required;
  • Maintain effective communication with internal departments to ensure alignment with legal standards and requirements;
  • Monitor legislative changes and advise the management team on their impact on the companys activities.

Requirements:

  • Law degree from an accredited university;
  • 3-7 years of experience in legal practice, with a focus on civil law;
  • Strong knowledge of civil legislation, including experience in drafting and negotiating contracts;
  • Experience in managing legal relationships with clients and suppliers is an advantage;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Romanian and preferably in English;
  • Strong legal analysis and critical thinking skills;
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently in a dynamic environment.
