Category Manager

We are looking for a results driven, dynamic person, with an eye for details, who is also able to see the greater picture and establish the best strategy by taking all information into consideration.

A preview of the role:
Development and implementation of category strategy for optimizing allocated expense categories (category plan);
Management of the allocated category
, including identifying strategic suppliers, managing supplier relationships, contracts, performance, and associated risks;

Involvement in the organization's budgeting process;
Market research
related to the allocated categories (FM, HR, Operations, etc.) to identify best practices;

Understanding market dynamics
– the power of supply and demand;

Creating a comprehensive supplier identification strategy
for the allocated categories based on NN company needs and market conditions;

Frequent participation in stakeholder meetings
to align strategic initiatives for the allocated category aimed at reducing risks and costs;

Coordination with regional or Group teams
to carry out procurement processes ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic directions;

Execution of reports
on procurement processes and analysis to identify potential improvement opportunities;

Conducting competitive procurement processes:

• Identifying the most suitable suppliers to invite to the bidding process (RFP);
• Gathering qualitative information about suppliers' capabilities for each specific selection process;
• Preparing detailed bidding documentation in collaboration with department teams for technical components and conducting the RFP process to receive the highest possible number of valid acceptable offers;

Negotiating the best price, quality, service levels, and delivery conditions
for purchased products and services;

Coordinating and finalizing negotiations
regarding contractual documents;

Maintaining the supplier database;
Collaborating with the Supplier Account team
to resolve invoice discrepancies;

Preparing reports and statements
(e.g., expense monitoring report, reports for auditors, etc.);

Responsible for conducting the BPDD (Business Partner Due Diligence) process
for new suppliers and renewals for outsourced suppliers;

Archiving and managing contracts
concluded by the Procurement Department in dedicated applications;

Administrative activities
– supplier approval in Peoplesoft, document registration in the registry application, etc.

The monthly salary range for the role is between and lei gross. The salary range showcased is only indicative. The final benefits package will be agreed upon during final negotiations with each candidate, by considering different criteria, such as the experience and skills level. Therefore, the finally agreed salary will stay confidential, as per the applicable law and we reserve the right to apply adjustments to the offer at any time during the hiring process.
