The Fleet Technical Representative provides expert technical support to ensure optimal performance, safety, and efficiency of a vehicle fleet.

This role involves managing replacement vehicle requests, monitoring fleet performance, and collaborating across departments to support seamless fleet operations.

*Key Responsibilities*

  • Manage Replacement Vehicle requests via internal platforms, adhering to policies while minimizing operating costs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Business Partners and providers.
  • Monitor and analyze fleet performance metrics (fuel consumption, maintenance costs, vehicle downtime) and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and other teams to support business objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements; implement best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding fleet safety and environmental standards.
  • Track provider performance metrics and lead initiatives to enhance quality and operational efficiency.
  • Support process improvements and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and accreditation standards.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by the employer.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in technical, transportation, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in fleet management, mobility, customer service, or related areas preferred.
  • Familiarity with fleet management software is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to convey technical information effectively.
  • Analytical problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges promptly.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset to foster positive relationships internally and externally.
