About the Role

Ford Business Solutions (FBS) Romania delivers operational services to Ford Credit Europe and Ford Bank Germany across four key markets. Ford Bank, the financial arm of Ford of Germany, provides tailored financial products to Ford dealers and customers throughout Germany.

We are seeking a Collection Supervisor that will be responsible for managing and guiding a team of collection professionals, supporting chosen operations activities, ensuring that the respective tasks are conducted efficiently, ethically and in compliance with established policies and regulations.

What will be your roles and responsibilities in the team?

• Leadership, management, development and motivation of employees in the assigned team:
• Leading regular team meetings and managing conflicts;
• Providing feedback and conducting performance reviews;
• Driving adequate training and coaching initiatives.
• Planning, coordinating, and supporting the daily business in the area of debt management:
• Assignment/ distribution of tasks and controlling the workload using the available systems;
• Making sure the agreed processing deadlines are met and the service standards maintained;
• Supporting the daily operations incl. independent solving of difficult customer cases.
• Controlling and monitoring of collections- and repossession & vehicle disposal activities:
• -verifying the quality standards and implementing corrective action plan, if need be;-ensuring compliance with operational guidelines and process descriptions;- ensuring compliance with operating guidelines and process descriptions-overseeing external service providers, monitoring orders placed to repossession agencies, vehicle assessment experts or collection companies.Involvement in documentation verification and approval processes, decision-making within the agreed scope of work.
• Supporting internal and cross-divisional projects and process improvement initiatives.

Are we looking for you? Yes, if you have:

• Fluency in spoken and written German language- candidate should be able to hold seamless conversations in German over the phone and cat with dealers, customers and other external parties.
• Fluency in spoken and written English language. Candidate should ne able to engage in professional conversations in English as well as read emails/ documents written in English.
• Previous experience in people leader roles with banking and non-banking financial firms is essential
• Demonstrated experience in Collections is essential, in a banking or financial context preferred. This includes experience analyzing delinquent portfolio trends, implementing action plans and developing team members.
• High level of communication skills and strong ability to lead and motivate employees.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel/ Word skills.
• Knowledge about automotive, finance or banking industry would be an advantage.
