Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all suppliers meet our quality standards and compliance requirements.

Job Description:

The Quality Assurance Specialist will act as a bridge between our organization and its suppliers, working to minimize risks such as defects, delays, and production disruptions. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting supplier capability assessments and ensuring compliance with European regulatory requirements.
• Evaluating new supplier processes and systems to ensure alignment with organizational quality expectations.
• Collaborating with suppliers to implement advanced quality planning tools during the qualification process.
• Ensuring compliance with customer-specific requirements and regional regulatory standards.
• Developing and maintaining quality manuals, procedures, and guidelines for supplier management.
• Leading supplier reviews to ensure alignment with company strategies and quality targets.
• Escalating critical supplier-related quality issues and coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement immediate solutions.
• Implementing performance improvement plans for underperforming suppliers and tracking progress regularly.
• Conducting periodic supplier reviews to assess their alignment with evolving business and quality requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years in a supplier quality, manufacturing, or related role, preferably in a European supply chain environment.
• Experience in interpretation of technical drawings, geometrical dimensions, and tolerances.
• Proficient in English (additional European languages are an asset).
• Knowledge of ISO standards (Quality Systems & Tools).
• Availability to travel abroad up to 30% of working time to visit suppliers.
• Six Sigma/Lean skills.
