About the Role

This senior-level opportunity will challenge you to drive strategic initiatives, develop category advisor expertise, and lead teams of sourcing professionals. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day coaching, training, and ongoing development while defining and implementing global sourcing strategies that consolidate suppliers and services. Your expertise will also be applied to developing RFx documents, executing contract negotiations, and participating in cross-functional projects. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability through effective procurement practices.
  • Lead and manage teams of junior sourcing professionals, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand critical business needs, trends, and strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Cultivate relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements that meet business requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you must have a proven track record of delivering results in procurement, combined with excellent leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on strategic planning and team leadership.
  • Expertise in procurement systems, process improvement methodologies (e.g., TQM, Six Sigma), and digitalization/automation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
