Procurement Lead Role

This role focuses on the procurement function, leading and managing cross-functional teams to deliver strategic sourcing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage proposal input, supplier selection, project closeout, and risk management;
  • Develop sourcing strategies, negotiate commercial terms, and evaluate supplier performance;
  • Collaborate closely with sales and project teams to define sourcing strategies and mitigate execution risks;
  • Draft and negotiate supplier contracts, and lead buy-out content;
  • Supervise supplier performance, address delivery or compliance issues;
  • Ensure alignment with tools, systems, procedures, and ethics policies throughout all procurement activities.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Commerce, or Engineering;
  • At least 5 years of confirmed experience in procurement within a project-based, international setting;
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams in a supply chain environment;
  • Strong customer management, communication, and negotiation skills;
  • Proficiency in English and German, other European languages considered beneficial.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within a matrixed, international organization;
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade compliance;
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP;
  • Prior involvement in large-scale capital or automation projects;
  • A solution-focused, analytical approach.
