Key Role: Senior Credit Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Credit Specialist to join our multilingual team, responsible for maximizing the collection of overdue funds from customers. Reporting to the Cluster Collections Supervisor for France and Benelux, this position is critical in fostering strong client relationships and managing reconciliation discrepancies.

  • Collection Strategies: Develop and execute effective collection methods to recover overdue payments from customers.
  • Reconciliation & Disputes: Identify and resolve reconciliation differences, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Client Relationship Management: Regularly review customer accounts to support accurate and efficient collections, while building trust and rapport with clients.
  • Credit Services: Provide customers with invoice copies and statements to facilitate payment and offer necessary account information.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare reports and assist Collection Specialists with invoice extraction and payment settlement, driving business growth and improvement.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in collections or related roles (upstream/downstream departments).
  • Language Skills: Fluent in French, with strong proficiency in English.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with SAP and intermediate Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
  • Collections Expertise: Proven ability to collect overdue payments while maintaining positive relationships with customers.
  • Results-Oriented: A strong focus on meeting and exceeding collection targets.
  • Communication Skills: Effective in building relationships and communicating promptly with clients.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and handle high volumes of work.
  • Attention to Detail: Highly detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Learning Ability: Quick to learn new systems and eager to grow professionally.
