Procurement Contract Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Contract Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Global Procurement department, you will be responsible for preparing procurement contracts, amendments to contracts, and negotiations of non-commercial terms.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate non-commercial clauses with external suppliers regarding procurement contracts.
  • Assess legal risks and mitigate them by proposing alternative clauses in accordance with DB standards and policies.
  • Manage contractual stages and liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., Business Line, Control Functions: Legal, Compliance, Audit) and vendors as per DB's policies and KODs.
  • Contribute to template development and playbook drafting and collect/upload contractual documentation into the contracts management system.
  • Prepare various reports regarding contract status upon request.

Essential Skills:

  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Degree from an accredited university – legal background preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected (Word and document comparison and track changes, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • +5 years' experience in drafting contracts, negotiations, and contracts' management (with focus on Financial services or IT).

  • International work environment experience would be an advantage.
