Product Performance Management Specialist

The Product Performance Management Specialist is a seasoned professional role that involves applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to the development of new techniques and improve processes. This individual integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area, requiring an in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business.

  • This specialist evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information.
  • A strong analytical mindset is required to filter, prioritize, and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources.

The Product Performance Management Specialist assumes informal/formal leadership roles within teams and is involved in coaching and training of new recruits. They have significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc., by influencing decisions through advice, counsel, and/or facilitating services to others in the area of specialization.

Responsibilities:
  • Partners across product disciplines, assists in the ownership of products, and monitors drivers for performance.
  • Works on ongoing performance and maintenance of a product or set of products, including client experience, pricing, risk, and distribution.
  • Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the product performance team.
  • Evaluates variable and, at times, complex issues with major impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in Product Management and/or Product Development discipline.
  • Experience in and understanding of logistics or Industrial verticals, e-commerce solutions preferred.
  • Ability to apply ingenuity and creativity to problem analysis and resolution in complicated and/or novel situations.
  • Developed diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence, and convince others.
Education:
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
