Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Monitoring Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure, you will be responsible for monitoring the health of distributed systems, identifying anomalies, and executing corrective actions to prevent downtime.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong analytical approach, and problem-solving skills. They will also be able to work effectively in a 24/7 rotating shift schedule and collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • Proactive System Monitoring: Utilize tools such as Nagios, Check MK, Zabbix, and Grafana to monitor system performance and identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Incident Triage: Apply ITIL Incident & Request Management principles to categorize, prioritize, and escalate issues to the right resolver teams.
  • Infrastructure Checks: Run scheduled checks on OS, network, databases, and cloud resources to ensure optimal system performance and execute corrective actions as needed.
  • Critical Event Coordination: Act as a communication bridge between internal squads, external vendors, and cloud providers during critical events, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective issue resolution.
  • Insightful Reporting: Maintain clear, up-to-date runbooks and dashboards to provide real-time visibility into system health and incident trends.
