Job Description

The role of a Data Engineer at our organization involves designing, building, and implementing data models for Analytics and Automation databases.

">

You will be responsible for programming the data pipelines for on-prem databases as well as in the cloud, connecting new data sources, analyzing the data together with the data scientists, and preparing the data model and ETL process.

">

Additionally, you will enable real-time-correlation software on big data sets, ensure the data quality and data privacy, optimize the performance of ETL processes/SQL Queries, and operate the data warehouses on application level.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Design and implement data pipelines and data structures">
  • Develop solutions together in an interdisciplinary team of data engineers, software developers, and system specialists">
  • Participate in the planning and designing stage of solutions">
  • Ensure data quality and data privacy">
  • Optimize ETL processes/SQL queries">
  • Operate data warehouses on application level">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Strong analytical capabilities">
  • Excellent experience with database technologies and architecture (especially Oracle)">
  • Advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query optimization, and familiarity with various databases">
  • Strong programming knowledge, especially in Python">
  • Experience with data modelling, ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, real-time data processing, and data movement technologies">
  • Fluent in English">
