About the Role

We are seeking an experienced software development professional to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing software solutions by following the software development lifecycle
  • Determining operational feasibility by evaluating quantitative models' usability, analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
  • Improving operations by conducting analysis of financial systems and platforms and recommending changes in policies and procedures
  • Providing information by collecting, analysing, and summarising development and service issues
  • Supporting and developing team members by providing advice, coaching and development opportunities

You will also contribute to and develop high-quality software design and architecture, and develop tools and applications by producing clean and efficient code.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electronics / Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Significant knowledge of multiple programming languages and experience in third party software products
  • Significant experience in a quantitative / software development role
