R Systems seeks a seasoned AI Platform Engineer to lead innovation in high-performance backend engineering and help shape our next-generation platform. This individual will design, implement, and optimize highly available, low-latency online services with a strong emphasis on AI-related applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable online services with a focus on AI-driven applications
  • Architect and lead development of Knowledge Graph systems, including metadata ontology, graph databases, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
  • Drive end-to-end product cycles following DevOps best practices from coding to deployment and monitoring
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins
  • Manage infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools such as Terraform
  • Build and deploy resilient applications in cloud-native (AWS) and/or cloud-agnostic (Kubernetes) environments
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering or a closely related field
  • Proficiency in Python or Java
  • Deep expertise in at least one of the following domains:
    • Scalable, sub-millisecond online service architectures
    • Complex Knowledge Graph systems and associated technologies
  • Proven experience building in a DevOps culture, delivering robust code from development through production
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure:
    • AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Batch, ECS
    • Kubernetes-based solutions for cloud-agnostic deployment
