Financial Markets Expert

We are seeking a Financial Markets Expert to join our team in Bucharest. This role is critical to ensuring the quality and reliability of our capital markets platform.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years software quality assurance experience or equivalent experience in financial markets, with a solid understanding of financial markets and investment workflows.

Key responsibilities include performing functional and UI testing of complex financial software, developing and maintaining automation tests using Robot Framework and Selenium, validating financial calculations and system workflows, collaborating with developers, product managers, and global QA teams, participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprints, and contributing to one of our QA sub-teams: Connectivity, Decision Support, or Pricing.

  • Develop and maintain high-quality automated testing programs using Robot Framework and Selenium
  • Perform thorough reviews of code changes and automated test cases to ensure quality and compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, Product Management, and Global QA teams
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprints
  • Contribute to one of our QA sub-teams: Connectivity, Decision Support, or Pricing

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • 5+ years software quality assurance experience or equivalent experience in financial markets
  • Solid understanding of financial markets and investment workflows
  • Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Preferred knowledge of automated testing software tools with ability to design and develop automated testing programs
  • Preferred knowledge of the Agile software development methodology
  • Functional knowledge of SQL for database testing
