Job Description
Territory Key Account Manager Livestock will be responsible for driving sales of animal health veterinary products, specifically for swine and ruminants, within a designated territory. The role will focus primarily on working with veterinarians and ensuring customer satisfaction, as well as working with technical sales representatives in the territory to deliver exceptional customer service and sales performance.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan in collaboration with sales management, marketing, and technical teams to drive sales performance and promote the sales of our strategic products for swine and ruminants.
- Identify commercial opportunities through networking with veterinarians and key stakeholders in the animal health industry, targeting veterinarians from A, B, C segments in the swine and ruminants segments.
- Develop and execute key account and strategic plans aligned with the overall strategic and tactical plans of the business unit, based on thorough analysis of customer needs in the swine and ruminants segments.
- Utilize data from the CRM system, as well as other relevant data sources and personal experience, to ensure accurate and up-to-date customer information and effective decision-making for swine and ruminants accounts.
- Maintain and update key account information in the CRM system, ensuring the system is utilized to its full potential for efficient account management of swine and ruminants portfolios.
- Build strong business relationships with farmers and veterinarians across A, B, C segments in the swine and ruminants segments, leading to customer satisfaction, loyalty, and increased sales.
- Implement customized solutions for farmers and veterinarians based on their specific needs and requirements in the swine and ruminants segments.
- Maintain regular contact with farmers and veterinarians in various segments, nurturing relationships and identifying opportunities for business growth in the swine and ruminants segments.
- Strive for win-win situations with customers in alignment with the business goals and objectives for swine and ruminants portfolios.
- Identify key veterinarians, key influencers, and decision-makers through comprehensive market analysis and understanding in the swine and ruminants segments.
- Organize and participate in meetings, workshops, presentations, and regional symposia in collaboration with the sales team, marketing team, and technical managers to enhance customer engagement and knowledge-sharing for swine and ruminants accounts.
- Share key account information and updates with colleagues across business units through effective use of the CRM system and other relevant tools for swine and ruminants portfolios.
- Collaborate closely with other departments, such as marketing, sales, and technical teams within the business unit, as well as other Key Account Managers (KAMs) from different business units.
- Utilize CRM and other tools, market research data, and personal targeting experience to develop territory action plans and call plans for different target customer groups and individual customers in the swine and ruminants segments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies and regulations, including adherence to code of conduct and industry-specific compliance requirements.
Requirements:
- University degree (veterinary medicine, agriculture, life sciences or BA) is an asset
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a commercial position or other relevant experience, preferentially in the Animal Health market
- Proven successful experience in leading and coaching people is an advantage
- High level of personal motivation and results-oriented
- Team player with leadership qualities and ability to work effectively cross-functionally
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a portion of constructive assertiveness
- Good sales analytical skills and a strategic mindset
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Competent use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and in IT technology in general
- Fluent English (verbal and written)
- Valid Driver's license
- Ability to travel 50% - 70%
