On behalf of our global client, we're currently looking for a
Database Administrator

Role:
Database Administrator

Location:
Hybrid 1-2 days onsite in 1 of the following locations Bulgaria (Sofia), Hungary (Budapest) / OR Romania (Cluj Napoca, Bucharest, Timisoara)

Start:
ASAP

End:
12+ months contract

Capacity:
8h/day, 5 days/week

Time:
15:00 - 23:00 CET

Required Skills

  • Over 9+ years of work experience as Database Administrator in Global Operations team (
    primarily on SAP HANA and Adaptive Server Enterprise Database Platforms (Previously Known as Sybase), however any database technology is welcome
    )
  • Exposure to the automation tools /scripting or processes
  • DB Concept on Security, Backup and recovery strategies, performance tuning, System Copies, high availability, and disaster recovery strategy, export-import, replication is must.
  • Cloud knowledge (e.g. experience of working in Public Cloud Domains like Microsoft Azure, AWS and GCP) is desirable but not essential. Good to have Professional
  • Experience of DB installations and upgrade, Planning, setup and implementation.
  • Experience of Providing technical expertise and support in optimizing and tuning of Systems. Performance Optimization.
  • Experience in Organize / Structure day2day documentation
  • Certification of Database Platforms with exposure to Project Management tasks including PMP and ITIL certification.
