Oracle Database Administrator
for our client, a

This role is
available only in Bucharest
and involves an
employment contract (CIM), with hybrid
work model (2 days per week on-site).

Responsibilities

  • Be an active team player in an Agile development environment;
  • Install, configure, fine-tune database servers, and investigate potential performance settings internally or with clients;
  • Be the owner of the database servers and the associated management / upgrade of the platforms;
  • Understand technical upgrade requirement from customers and help with database upgrade scripts or support when unexpected behavior;
  • Interacts with internal stakeholders (QA, Engineering, IT) to support technical upgrade, managing Database and build environment, product releases and/or resolve technical problems;
  • Installation and configuration of Tomcat, Keycloak, Ansible, Unix environments, Windows environments, Jenkins, IBM MQ and others per guidelines.

Requirements

  • Experience with
    DB servers (Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase)
  • installation knowledge is required;
  • Experience with Ansible and automated installations;
  • At least 3+ year experience maintaining and using
    build systems (Jenkins/ groovy
    );
  • At least 2+ years working with
    Python and Perl, maintaining and creating scripts;
  • Hands on experience with
    Unix systems
    (bash, scripting, basic maintenance);
  • Hands on experience with
    Linux and/or
    Windows systems (batch, PowerShell, scripting, basic maintenance);
  • Docker/Kubernetes know-how and experience is a big plus;
  • Experience with Cloud (Azure is a plus) is a big plus.
