Description
As part of GlobalLogic Engineering organization, you will work as an Energy SME who will engage with customers to understand their business needs and translate them into requirements to create digital solutions. The Energy SME will work closely with Software Architects, Product Owners, and Business Analysists during software design and development to assure the digital solution corresponds to customer needs.

Requirements

• BSc/BEng in Power Engineering degree or BSc/BEng in Electrical Engineering with a MSc in Power Engineering OR BSc in Software Engineering with hands-on experience developing solutions for Electric Utilities.
• At least 5 years of experience with an electric utility (Generation/Transmission/Distribution/System/Power Operator/Energy Regulator) or as digital solution provider for these utilities.
• Experience with one of the following areas: Asset Management & Performance, Energy Management System, Distribution Management Systems, Power System Automation, Protection and Control
• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Product Manager for a digital product for Electric Utilities. Hands-on experience with modern software practices such as Agile, Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Release Plan.
• Experience on creation and interpretation of business and functional & non-functional digital requirements for electric utilities. Fluent English

Job responsibilities

• Provide domain expertise for our growing energy-focused portfolio and help deliver high quality digital solutions
• Work directly with clients and help digital product engineering teams to translate high-level business requirements into more detailed instructions
• Participate in energy-domain offerings development, pre-sales, help prepare presentations, and pitch them to client
• Take part in occasional business trips for client meetings and offline events (trade shows, tech talks, exhibitions etc.)
• Contribute to our internal knowledge base and training programs aimed at empowering project teams with required energy domain knowledge
