About the Role:

The firm is seeking a talented and driven
Energy Lawyer
to join its dynamic and growing Energy & Natural Resources practice. The successful candidate will be involved in advising on a
broad range of energy-related matters
, from regulatory and transactional work to project development and infrastructure issues.

You will work alongside leading practitioners in the field and contribute to landmark projects shaping Romania's and the region's energy landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on regulatory, transactional, and commercial matters across the energy sector.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate project and transaction documentation.
  • Assist with due diligence, project structuring, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support clients on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and project financing.
  • Collaborate with cross-practice teams on multi-jurisdictional mandates.
  • Engage directly with clients, providing strategic legal and commercial advice.

Candidate Profile:

  • Fully qualified lawyer in Romania (Bar admission required).
  • 3–6 years of post-qualification experience in energy, projects, or M&A (experience in an international or top-tier local firm is an advantage).
  • Solid understanding of Romanian and EU energy regulations.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential.
  • A proactive attitude, commercial awareness, and team-oriented mindset.
