Are you a technically skilled project manager, comfortable solving problems on-site, and working with smart machines and cloud systems?

We are looking for a
Project Manager with a strong technical background
to join our growing team in Romania and support the deployment of self-service laundromats across the region. This is not a purely coordination role – we need someone who understands how the technology works and can intervene if something fails.

What Makes This Role Unique?

  • You'll be responsible for managing installations and solving technical problems – from software setup to payment kiosk issues and connectivity.

  • You'll play a key role in the hands-on delivery of Girbau's self-service solutions across Romania and neighboring markets.

  • This is an ideal role if you're comfortable with both project planning and opening a laptop to fix a system if needed.

Your Main Responsabilities

Project Coordination & Execution


•Oversee the full lifecycle of self-service laundry installations.


• Manage technical partners (electricians, plumbers, IT technicians).


• Ensure all systems are tested, connected, and functioning (e.g., Nayax, Sapphire).

Technical Support


• Configure and troubleshoot payment kiosks and cloud-based systems.


• Log in to remote platforms and fix software/hardware issues when required.


• Coordinate with our global technical team for complex interventions.

Risk & Time Management


• Anticipate blockers and propose solutions.


• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.

What We're Looking for

  • Engineering degree (Electrical, Mechatronics, or similar) or solid hands-on technical experience.

  • Proven experience (3–5 years) in managing technical installations or machinery projects.

  • Ability to understand system diagrams, network setups, and hardware integration.

  • Good communication skills – ability to explain technical problems to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Fluent in English, Romanian is a plus.

  • Willingness to travel across Romania and occasionally abroad.

This Role Is Not For You If

  • You only manage Excel files and meetings, but don't like touching real hardware.

  • You've never configured a device, logged into a local network, or debugged a system.

  • You're looking for a 100% remote or office-based position – this role requires field presence.
