We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to lead the strategic oversight and execution of the SCOR Technology portfolio. This role is central to ensuring that SCOR's technology landscape remains innovative, resilient, and aligned with business objectives. You will be responsible for driving the adoption of emerging technologies, coordinating annual production readiness reviews, and proactively managing the lifecycle of existing technologies to mitigate technical obsolescence.
As a key player in the Technical Architecture team, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that all technologies are production-ready, secure, and scalable. You will also lead initiatives to identify and remediate outdated or unsupported technologies, ensuring operational continuity and compliance with internal standards. This is role requires a blend of technical acumen and project management expertise.
Key duties and responsibilities
Portfolio Management:
- Oversee the SCOR Technology portfolio, ensuring accuracy of use cases, owners and lifecycle status
Coordinate the introduction and integration of new technologies across the organization.
Production Readiness:
- Lead the annual Production Readiness Reviews (PRRs) to validate the operational readiness of technologies.
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure compliance with operational standards and track remediation actions.
Technical Obsolescence Management:
- Identify and assess risks related to aging or unsupported technologies.
Develop and execute remediation plans to address obsolescence, including upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning.
Governance & Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to internal governance frameworks and industry best practices.
- Produce clear and actionable reports and dashboards for executive stakeholders.
Required experience & competencies
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technical project or portfolio management.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and enterprise architecture.
- Experience with technology lifecycle management and obsolescence remediation.
- Familiarity with ITIL, TOGAF, or similar frameworks is a plus.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Required Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
