About the role

As
Internal Control Supervisor
, you will be the
guardian of governance and compliance
for our Romanian operations, ensuring robust internal control frameworks that safeguard resources, mitigate risks, and drive business performance. You'll collaborate closely with EMEA leadership and global teams to
implement best practices in Internal Control, Enterprise Risk Management, and Regulatory Compliance
.

What you'll do

Lead Internal Control projects

Design, plan, and execute internal control initiatives that strengthen financial, operational, and management processes. Ensure projects are delivered on time, with minimal disruption to business operations, and aligned with global standards.

Implement Control Self-Assessment (CSA)

Roll out CSA programs across all Romanian operations, facilitating workshops and interviews to identify risks and validate controls. Train teams on CSA benefits and methodologies, and report findings to senior leadership for continuous improvement.

Manage regulatory framework

Act as the go-to expert for local regulatory compliance. Advise policy owners, oversee policy updates, and ensure alignment with EMEA and global standards. Drive annual sign-offs for global policies, code of ethics, and conflict-of-interest declarations.

Drive Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)

Evaluate strategic and operational risks, design mitigation strategies, and ensure effective controls are in place. Serve as the functional link between local and corporate risk management teams, presenting risk assessments to top management.

Oversee Regulatory Compliance Requirements (RCR)

Coordinate Romania's RCR implementation, ensuring accurate data collection and compliance tracking. Lead cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Finance, Commercial, and Operations teams, and monitor compliance through a global platform.

Implement Identity and Access Management (IAM)

Develop and maintain IAM strategy and architecture, ensuring secure and efficient access controls across the organization. Collaborate with IT and security teams to enforce segregation of duties and compliance with global standards.

Collaborate with Internal Auditors and Specialists

Work closely with auditors and technical experts (finance, security, engineering, IT) to ensure transparency and alignment on risk and control frameworks. Provide auditors with access and insights for effective reviews.

Train and communicate across the organization

Lead training sessions and awareness programs on internal control, compliance, and risk management. Promote a culture of accountability and self-management that supports business objectives.

What we're looking for

Education:
Degree in Public Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or related field

Experience:
5+ years in internal control or auditing (Big4 or multinational FMCG preferred)

Expertise:
COSO framework, risk management, compliance, auditing best practices

Skills:
Strategic mindset, analytical thinking, strong communication across cultures

Languages:
English (mandatory), Spanish (nice to have)

Flexibility:
Ability to travel nationally and internationally
