What you'll be doing

As a
Buyer
at GBC, you'll be a vital part of our operations team, helping us source the best equipment and solutions from top manufacturers while making sure projects are delivered on time and on budget.

Key responsibilities:


Procurement Execution & Vendor Management

  • Plan, create, and manage purchase orders for AV equipment, accessories, and related services.
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and manage contracts with local and international suppliers.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods, validate quality upon arrival, and resolve delivery issues efficiently.


Sourcing Strategy

  • Identify and qualify new suppliers to ensure best price/quality ratio.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and new product releases, proactively adjusting sourcing strategy when needed.
  • Analyze procurement needs, stock levels, and vendor performance to optimize cost and delivery times.


Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Act as liaison between procurement, engineering, sales, finance, and logistics teams.
  • Support the sales and presales team by providing accurate pricing and lead times during the offer phase.
  • Help maintain a smooth internal procurement workflow by aligning with warehouse and project coordination teams.


Process Optimization & Reporting

  • Constantly improve internal procedures to streamline the procurement cycle.
  • Track KPIs related to cost savings, supplier delivery accuracy, and purchase lead times.
  • Monitor purchase plans and inventory to prevent shortages or excess stock.

What we're looking for

Proven work experience as a Buyer / Procurement Specialist or similar role

Strong knowledge of purchasing principles and negotiation techniques

Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and relationship-building skills

Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Driving license – category B (preferred)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)

Nice to have:

Previous experience in AV, electronics, or technical procurement

Familiarity with ERP systems or procurement platforms (WinMentor Enterprise in particular)
