Procurement Excellence Manager in France

Scope
: in charge of carbon reporting, decarbonation & stakeholders management, working closely with teams across France HQ but also international teams

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supplier Carbon Engagement:

  • Engages Suppliers to set science-based decarbonization targets
  • Deploys and manages campaigns to collect Suppliers' carbon targets, defines and monitors associated KPIs (e.g., % of Suppliers with science-based decarbonization targets)
  • Supports in modeling "Carbon Business Cases" associated with decarbonization plans for the most emissive items (e.g., estimation of decarbonization potential and financial impacts)

Carbon Reporting:

  • Manages the calculation of the procurement-related carbon footprint
  • Updates the carbon reporting protocol by integrating changes in carbon footprint calculation methodology based on audit results
  • Assists Buyers in publishing CO2 savings
  • Supports carbon emission analyses and projections for Buyers
  • Trains buyers on decarbonization tools, including carbon reporting and facilitates webinars

Sustainable Procurement Dashboard:

  • Continuous management of the dashboard to track Scope 3 decarbonization targets
  • Regular reports to executive committees

External Audits Supervision:

  • Coordinates CSR auditors with Suppliers, focusing on environmental aspects
  • Monitors audit execution, results, and improvement plans with Suppliers

Supplier Relations Management:

  • Acts as PMO for orchestrating Supplier onboarding and carbon engagement campaigns
  • Defines and validates remediation action plans for high-risk Suppliers
  • Supports Suppliers in increasing their carbon maturity

Buyer Relations Management:

  • Interface with Buyers for tracking external audits and validating remediation action plans
  • Supports Buyers in publishing CO2 savings

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High expertise in carbon analytics: financial modeling, Carbon Accounting (e.g. Carbon Footprint, GHG Protocol)
    and sustainable procurement/decarbonation field
  • Solid knowledge in carbon emission calculations
    with purchase volumes, Supplier emission factors, generating rankings by emission levels (Supplier rankings, rankings of "items x Suppliers" pairs), and assist in modeling (carbon savings, cost, etc.)
  • Solid Knowledge of:
  • regulations and standards in sustainable development
  • responsible procurement principles and sustainable development
  • English proficiency (French also represents and advantage)
  • COUPA, SAP, advanced Excel, Power BI
  • EcoVadis & PSCI
  • Experience in responsible procurement within international organizations
  • Organized, autonomous, concise, meticulous
  • Open-minded, comfortable interacting with various stakeholders in a transforming and multi-cultural environment
