Job Objective

Our team is growing and we are searching for new colleagues to join our Bid & Tendering team to compose our commercial offers (in terms of civil works - facades, carpet, walls, baseboard, doors, floors, ceilings, glass) for our projects according to the client's needs and sales team coordination.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Bid & Tendering Specialist in civil works located in Bucharest, Romania. The Bid & Tendering Specialist will be responsible for preparing and submitting technical and commercial quotations, analyzing bid requirements, and ensuring compliance with specifications. The role also involves coordinating with procurement teams, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of bid submissions. Additionally, will ensure effective communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the tendering process.

Job responsibilities

• Managing the bid & tendering architectural/civil works process and the relations with the stakeholders involved
• Compiling the architectural/civil works commercial offer and tracking its status (accepted, modified, rejected) during the process.
• Analyzing various types of documentation (project specifications, datasheets, construction & technical plans)
• Negotiating supplier offers according to internal regulation
• Preparing and delivering on-time technical and commercial offers for the projects we intend to sign contracts for
• Compiling drawn and written documentation in order to make accurate architectural bids
• Processing and sending construction bid related documentation
• Actively participating in bidding strategy scenarios for each project
• Actively participating in external and internal trainings related to the company's scope of works and products
• Technical comparisons to assist project team and customers choose the most efficient solution in each project
• Quantity surveying / auditing – checking written and drawn documentation to be synchronized with the intermediate and/or final proposal
• Actively supporting project teams with cost controlling and order management

Core competencies & skills

• Advanced Excel skills is a must
• Familiar with architectural specifications and construction design elements is an advantage
• Good understanding and/or experience with CRM's and ERP's
• Good command of MS Office
• Basic command of CAD software is a plus
• Paying high attention to the details
• Ability to perform/learn all aspects of understanding a project from technical, design and financial point of view
