Impact of the Role

This role plays a key part in Edenred's growth strategy by:

• Financial Integrity: Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting, safeguarding the organization against discrepancies and legal issues.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Provide critical insights and reports that support management in making informed strategic decisions.
• Operational Efficiency: Drive the optimization and automation of finance processes, enhancing overall productivity and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Managing accounting activities – accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, treasury
• Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
• Preparing monthly reconciliation, trial balance analysis
• Supporting the monthly closing process
• Preparing special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
• Participating in the reconciliation of auxiliary accounting data with financial accounting data
• Offering support and participating in audit activities, controls of state authorities etc.
• Participating in optimization and automation processes within the finance area

WE WILL VIBE WITH YOU

Knowledge and Skills:

• You are graduated from a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting/finance according to the Romanian legislation
• Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar position
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and address multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment
• Ability to work across departmental boundaries to resolve issues
• Takes initiative and demonstrates a broader perspective when solving problems
• Very good planning, organizing, and presentation skills
• Other skills required : Project Management, MS Office proficiency
• Team player, proactivity, empathy, eagerness to learn
• English/French skills (min B1 level)

HOW WE'LL GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER

It's important for us to provide a collaborative environment where we set the vibes for a successful collaboration. After the first screening interview where we both see if we are a match, we will have our first official interview via video-call led by our Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding Specialist. If that's a success on both sides then we'll schedule a series of interactions with The Chief Accountant, Team Leader GL&FA, Finance & Accounting Director, HR Transformation Director and General Manager Edenred Romania & Benefit. If all is good at this point, we'll do a quick reference check from two sources you provide and then, you will be presented with the offer and be welcomed to the team.
