If you are a professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an appealing role for you Based in Cluj-Napoca, the Global IT Procurement Analyst will perform Buyer related functions supporting the Global IT Procurement Organization.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Acquire vendor quotes;
  • Process purchase requisitions;
  • Purchase Order creation in systems of transaction (primarily Oracle) for Emerson entities globally;
  • Collaborate with Service Delivery Managers to ensure timely product delivery;
  • Record receipts in the purchasing system of record for all systems globally;
  • Coordinate delivery of approved Purchase Orders;
  • Prepare required regulatory reports;
  • Coordinate the timely payment of invoices with Finance;
  • Coordinate signing of leasing and purchasing documents under appropriate delegation of authority;
  • Assist Emerson entities with inquiries related to invoices for IT product orders

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • A university degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Previous experience in a support or administrative role, ideally with some exposure to procurement or invoice handling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Point, Excel, and Word software;
  • Customer focus with good interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and productive;
  • Proficient English is required;
  • Proficiency in working and excelling in a team environment including the ability to interact across all levels of management within the organization
     

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Ability to speak any second language is helpful. 

  • Knowledge of Oracle purchasing/sourcing applications is strongly preferred;
