About The Opportunity:
The DOC Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting Iron Mountain's commercial teams. A key aspect of this role is providing support to Iron Mountain Internal Customers during the various stages of an Opportunity Life cycle. The core function involves completing complex support needed on non-sales activities that are required to help enable the opportunity to revenue. This role is pivotal in converting complex data into actionable recommendations and contributing to process improvement

Responsibilities:
Complex Document Creation & Review:

  • Create complex Pricing Models, complex Pricing Quotes/Price Schedules and other documents as needed.
  • Create/Review opportunity documents for completeness and accuracy to ensure a complete Contract Package.
  • Submit Contract Package for execution via E-Signature platform.
  • Manage opportunity progression on complex deals and/or in-country opportunities.

Data Analysis & Reporting & Communication:

  • Create various custom/complex reports and/or presentations as needed.
  • Analyze data and provide feedback when related to opportunities.
  • Import, consolidate, format, and analyze customer and sales data from multiple systems into Microsoft, Google Workspace, and other programs/systems.
  • Responsible for reporting and tracking metrics such as monitoring SLAs, monitoring progress, and providing periodic status reports to relevant parties.
  • Provide regular updates on deal and price performance, converting data into actionable recommendations and identifying emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Keep Iron Mountain Internal Customers in the loop by maintaining and providing regular updates on open opportunities.
  • Effectively interact with Sales, Account Management, Commercial, and country teams at all levels to whom support will be provided.

Information & Compliance Support:

  • Complete complex Due Diligence, Quality Assurance, Information Security Questionnaires, and other Requests for Information documents.
  • Act as a trusted Global partner to Iron Mountain Internal Customers to ensure that in-country internal policies and processes supporting the opportunity-to-revenue process are carried out in accordance with current Iron Mountain procedures.

Team Collaboration & Process Improvement:

  • Assist in training new team members to ensure a good understanding of team roles, responsibilities, and goals, formalizing the mentorship role for Generalists.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the sales process, identify bottlenecks, resolve inconsistencies, and improve efficiency and effectiveness, proactively proposing and leading small-scale process improvements within their domain.
  • Other duties/projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Language Proficiency: Mandatory fluency in English; preferred fluency in other international languages, with superior proficiency in both written and oral communication
  • Education/Experience: A University Degree (business, economics) in a related field is preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in sales support functions or global deal operations.
  • Attention to Detail: Must have exceptional attention to detail and provide complete and accurate documents during the entire life cycle of the opportunity.
  • Business Acumen & Translation: Ability to recognize and identify process breakdowns or situations that are not the norm and have the ability to provide insights, feedback, and solutions.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Professional communication skills; interpersonal skills are a key component of the role; must be able to build rapport and work collaboratively with internal and external business partners.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrate the ability to adapt to change and show a willingness to learn new methods, procedures, or techniques of working, quickly and easily.
  • Must demonstrate excellent teamwork, motivational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Exceptional Organizational Skills: including prioritization, scheduling, time management, responsiveness, and a sense of urgency in order to manage multiple concurrent SLAs.
  • Ability to multitask, quickly switch your focus or your demands to manage multiple concurrent SLA's.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate raw data into actionable insights.
  • Technical Understanding & System Proficiency: Ability to quickly learn new systems and software. Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Word, and a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and pricing tools. Preferred experience in Commitment to mastering Iron Mountain's core internal systems.
  • Clear Advancement Pathways: Demonstrated mastery of support tasks and proficiency in data handling will directly prepare for progression to an Expert role.
