We're hiring a full-time Career Counselor at Upgrade. But this isn't just about university admissions—it's about helping students build lives they're proud of.

We work with high school students aiming for top universities worldwide. But beyond grades and CVs, what they really need is someone who can guide them—intellectually, emotionally, and strategically.

That's where you come in.

What you'll do:

  • Lead 1-on-1 strategy calls with high school students
  • Help them design their long-term academic and extracurricular plan
  • Recommend summer programs, internships, courses, competitions
  • Talk with parents to align expectations and solve problems
  • Support emotional growth, not just profile-building
  • Help us design smarter systems, resources, and coaching tools

You'll be part of our
product team
, building a new kind of education system from the ground up.

This is for someone who:

  • Has real experience working with teenagers—coaching, counseling, teaching
  • Understands what students
    need
    , not just what they
    should do
  • Can speak with both students and parents—firmly, clearly, empathetically
  • Is curious, values-driven, and passionate about education
  • Wants to build something meaningful and lasting
  • Works full-time, in-person (Bucharest HQ)

Study abroad or counseling credentials are a plus, but what matters most is that you love this work—and know how to do it well.
