Your Mission
We are seeking a Finance Officer to join our growing international team. This role reports to the Finance Team Leader (Accounting & Operations) based in Iasi, Romania.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily accounting and operational activities for Nuvei companies (mainly the Netherlands) - including but not limited to booking accruals, prepaid expenses, invoices, bank statements, monthly closing JEs, maintaining trade payable/receivable ledgers, etc
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing process by performing balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations, etc
  • Provide accurate, timely, and relevant reports and various analysis to management, on request
  • Participate in statutory/group audits by preparing the reports or gathering the info requested by internal/external auditors.

Requirements

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in accounting/finance, and a deep understanding of accounting rules and principles
  • A result-oriented person, focused on getting the job done, optimistic and open to learning new things
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, and complex organization
  • High attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query and/or Power BI knowledge is a plus)
  • Good command of English (spoken and written)
