Mechanical Tender Engineer
.

Objectives

Prepare accurate, competitive, and technically sound tender proposals to support successful project acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Review tender documentation, including beneficiary requests, technical projects, and project data descriptions, to prepare technical and financial proposals.
  • Develop technical and economical quotations aligned with received tender documentation.
  • Respond to beneficiary requests, providing clarifications regarding submitted quotations.
  • Request and compare offers from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Update technical solutions and maintain a database for material prices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure tender compliance and alignment with company objectives.
  • Contribute to process improvement and share best practices for tender preparation.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Installations or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a tender or technical department within a construction/installation company.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, sanitary, and fire installations.
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project) and AutoCAD; familiarity with tender programs is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with colleagues, suppliers, and beneficiaries.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Results-oriented and proactive in seeking improvements.
