We are currently looking for a Senior Account Manager (Corporate Communication) to join our team in Bucharest. We operate a hybrid working pattern. You will be responsible for leading client accounts, building strong relationships, and implementing effective and creative communication strategies.

Solid media relations (business, financial, generalist, analysis, economic publications) is a must, as well as excellent people management and project management skills. You will also act as the main client contact, providing strategic counsel and ensuring seamless delivery of projects.

You'll also be exposed to working on pitches and developing new business opportunities.

Day to day

  • Act as account lead on corporate clients, managing day-to-day relationships and ensuring high-quality delivery
  • Use media knowledge to maximize PR and communication opportunities
  • Develop and implement integrated communication strategies (PR, digital, social, events) that respond to client briefs with effective and creative solutions
  • Draft and adapt efficient stories that generate relevant media exposure and coverage
  • Manage crisis communications, including preparing and delivering reactive statements when needed
  • Plan and coordinate media trips and events with journalists
  • Manage and optimize client budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and accurate reporting
  • Contribute to new business activities and pitches
  • Anticipate client needs by staying informed on industry and market developments
  • Analyse the market context to create new communications opportunities
  • Assist the Head of PR Division in developing long-term client satisfaction and communication plans
  • Monitor the media landscape and provide regular updates
  • Coordinate and mentor junior colleagues, supporting them in their growth and workload management
  • Seek continuous training and learning opportunities
  • Be open-minded and adaptable to societal and workplace changes
  • Stay informed on technological trends relevant to communication
  • Build and maintain a strong professional network that can generate new business opportunities
  • Excellent writing skills (corporate communication focus, but also consumer style when required)
  • Perfect Romanian and English reading, writing, and speaking

About you

  • 7–10 years of PR agency and/or client-side experience in corporate communication (consumer background is also a plus), ideally in a similar role
  • Solid media relations experience that supports your media pitching responsibility
  • Curious, proactive, analytical
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills (Romanian & English)
  • Confident, with a positive personality
  • Supportive, inspiring, and motivational team player
  • Passionate about the PR profession
  • Strong organizational skills (both in team coordination and personal agenda)
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively
  • Quick thinker, able to provide efficient answers and solutions
