Legal Adviser - Services
What you'll have to do:

  • Keeps up to date with the most recent changes in legislation and informs the company departments.
  • Provides legal advice concerning various types of contracts for financial products and services, ranging from drafting, review, and interpretation up to the follow up all legal parts of these contracts.
  • Issues legal opinions regarding the design of standard contractual documentation and other documents with legal specificity.
  • Analyzes and provides legal opinions regarding financial products.
  • Researches and analyzes state laws, regulations, guidelines, applies policy text, company practices, filings, and hypothetical / factual situations.
  • Drafts new and revised policy text and related contract forms to comply with state laws.
  • Issues legal opinion regarding contracts and other legal matters.
  • Ensures that all rules and regulations of the company are compliant with the legislation in force.
  • Ensures representation of company's best interests by providing support representation for business affairs in developing and maintaining effective relationships with partners and regulatory bodies.
  • Provides legal support to all the other departments

What makes you a good fit:

  • University degree in Law;
  • 2 – 3 years of experience in a similar position;
  • The ability to plan and prioritize workloads in order to meet deadlines is fundamental;
  • The candidate should be confident, having the ability to operate in a dynamic environment;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication (both verbal and written);
  • Highly organized, analytical, task focused in a fast-moving environment;
  • Advantage: knowledge of EU data protection law and privacy practices.
  • Computer literate;
  • Fluency in English.
